Field Investigations
Hydrosphere's staff is outstanding in the field. We offer more than desktop computing: we offer boots on the ground. To make meaningful and realistic interpretations of results, it's essential that quantitative analyses be backed up by real-world field experience. At one time or another, members of our team have measured, collected, logged or monitored virtually every water resource parameter, from deep aquifer water levels to alpine snow water contents. We have conducted field investigations of streamflow, stream channels, water quality, groundwater and wetlands. We've designed data collection programs and installed gages, sensors, data loggers and telemetry equipment. We've interviewed irrigators, ditch riders and well-pumpers.
These activities have been carried out in the United States, Asia and Africa, and in environments ranging from deserts to rain forests.
