GIS Compendium
The data sources for our GIS Compendium publication are the USGS WATSTORE database, the NCDC TD3200, TD3240 and TD3260 databases, and the EPA STORET database. The data on the disc
include summary information on the raw data measured by all USGS, NCDC and EPA stations in the region. The disc also provides GIS coverages in both MapInfo and ArcView (or PC ArcInfo) formats.
- Number of Stations: over 750,000 on eleven regional discs
- Period of Record: 1781 to 1995
- Content: annual statistics on measured data, State, County, HUC, Reach1 and Station GIS coverages
- Parameters: streamflow, weather, water quality
