Engineering Technician II
Mr. Zielke specializes in the development and implementation of GIS databases. He is familiar with industry standard GIS tools including ArcView, MapInfo and AutoCad, and is well versed in the preparation of maps and graphics for analysis and presentation.
At Hydrosphere, Mr. Zielke has assembled GIS databases from a variety of sources, including satellite imagery, GPS readings, digitized paper maps, and existing GIS data. His projects have ranged from GIS work digitizing data from photographs and legal documents to analysis and quality control on spatial data. He was critical to the design and population of a sizable database of well information for the South Platte Basin and played a key role in a large spatial data entry and digitization project for New Mexico. He has also created presentation maps covering much of the state of Colorado, and has produced several sets of AutoCAD construction plans for diversion structures.
Mr. Zielke holds a BS in Environmental Geology from Colorado State University.
